**Sacculotomy** is a surgical procedure that involves dissection or incision and removal of either a segmental or the entire spherical mastoid sac. This surgery compromises the integrity and function of the eustachian tube, which can lead to compromised middle ear pressure and associated symptoms (eg, eustachian tube dysfunction). This complication usually occurs after trauma, usually penetrating.

Sacculotomy is usually performed together with tympanoplasty for the same reasons as radical mastoidotomy.



Sacculothmia is a surgical procedure during which a pathological formation – tumors, cysts, atherosclerotic plaques – is removed from the patient’s skull.

Indications for surgery:

* Brain cyst * Pituitary adenoma * Cerebral aneurysm

Considering the volume of the operation, the recovery period is long enough to assess the patient’s condition. Careful preoperative preparation, preoperative
