The sanitary post is a formation of the **medical service of the Civil Defense** (Medical Service of the Civil Defense).

A unit can be organized as a sanitary post or a medical company:

Sanitary posts - one of the structural links of sanitary and preventive provision of the population, are created at all large healthcare facilities, public education, public utilities and other facilities in order to provide timely medical assistance to workers and employees of these facilities. Identification of initial signs of illness and poisoning among employees. Sanitary posts are an important link in rescuing victims of man-made and natural accidents at industrial facilities.
