Giant cell sarcoma

Giant cell sarcoma, sarcofibrosarcoma is a malignant tumor of atypical macrophages (multinuclear polymorphic amoeboid cells) and young fibroblasts.

Clinically, localized and disseminated forms are distinguished. The localized form of giant cell sarcoma is manifested by metastasis of malignant cells along the periphery to a regional lymph node or to the bone.
