Shibis - dill

Nature.
The degree of the warming property of dill is between the second and third, and the drying property is between the first and second; if it is burned, it appears in relation to these properties in the second degree.

Actions and properties.
It causes cold juices to ripen, soothes pain and expels winds. This is how dill oil works. Dill is very softening and its nature is close to medicines that promote ripening and open blockages, but it is somewhat hotter. Fresh dill promotes ripening more, while dry dill absorbs more strongly.

Tumors and acne.
It promotes the maturation of tumors.

Wounds and ulcers.
Its ash is useful for loose ulcers.

Tools with joints.
Its oil helps with nerve pain and the like.

Organs of the head.
Dill and especially its oil put you to sleep. Squeezing its juice helps with black gall ear pain and dries out moisture in the ear.

Organs of the eye.
Long-term use weakens vision.

Breast organs.
Dill and its seeds enhance the separation of milk, especially in stews to increase the amount of milk.

Nutritional organs.
Dill helps with hiccups when the stomach is full, resulting from the upward movement of food. Galen says: “It harms the stomach, and its seeds cause vomiting.”

Eruption organs.
Dill, if you make an enema from it or sit in its decoction, helps with pain in the intestines and stops the flow of semen. It tears off the protruding kidney bumps, and its ash is good for ulcers in the anus and on the penis.
