Schizophrenia is a mental disorder from the group of progressive disorders, characterized by the disintegration of thinking processes and emotional reactions, resulting in a violation of the coherence of mental processes; changes in their thinking productivity, disorders of sensation and perception, somatosensory and emotional perception. In acute schizophrenia, there is a detachment from reality, distortions of thinking and perception of the surrounding world, delusions and hallucinations. Also characteristic is an exacerbation of the patient’s thought processes against the background of emotional depression and detachment. Among other things, a person becomes withdrawn and uncommunicative, he may completely stop leaving the house, which negatively affects his mental state and can cause a decrease in immunity, the patient begins to get sick often.
