Shower Crotch

A perineal shower - or upward shower - is a hydrotherapeutic procedure that refers to a group of showers that include shower stalls, a shower hose or a shower diffuser, and project from these devices under a certain pressure into the pelvic area during showering (sometimes called the perineum). In some cases, this technique may include other levels located in the projection of the genitourinary apparatus on the wall above the knee. This procedure is sometimes referred to as “ascending water procedures”, i.e. douche as opposed to vaginal rubbing and vaginal douche.
