Basal-frontal syndrome

Basal frontal syndrome is a rare inherited disorder. With this disease, the basal ganglia of the brain are affected, and motor and cognitive functions are impaired.

The development of the disease can be caused by several factors. These include mutations in genes that encode proteins associated with neurotransmission.
