Femoral Nerve Syndrome

In modern traumatology and orthopedic surgery, consistently high results of surgical treatment are ensured by the widespread use of the intramedullary osteosynthesis (IMO) system - this is a medical technique that makes it possible to replace traditional technologies for comparing bone fragments for fractures of long bones with an implant made of elastic material from the bone of a living person. However, like any medical technique, IMO has its limitations in application. One of the reasons is the possibility of reduced blood circulation in surrounding tissues, damage to nerve fibers and their endings.
