Psychopath-like syndrome

Psychopathic-like syndrome is one of the character pathologies, and is both an independent mental disorder and an integral part of schizophrenia and borderline mental disorder. There is a change in the emotional and behavioral functioning of patients, mainly in the form of hyperactivity, agitated behavior, impulsivity, and emotional lability. Pronounced signs of libidodeficiency may manifest themselves in the fact that the patient prefers younger and naive girls to older girls. There is often a tendency in such patients to be somewhat unceremonious, cheeky and often lacking empathy. It manifests itself in motor impairments and changes in handwriting. The cause of the psychopath-like syndrome may be the atypical course of childhood schizophrenia (with the childhood type) for children of the older age group. It can also occur due to an organic disease of the brain or due to chronic mental overexcitation.
