Abscess Subgingival

Subgingival abscess is a type of periodontitis - inflammation of the gums. It develops in people with weakened immune systems, as well as if the teeth have caries. This abscess is formed due to the fact that pus with toxins begins to accumulate under the gum. There can be many reasons for this: trauma, incorrect treatment of neighboring teeth, and even careless performance of dental hygiene procedures. This problem is treated by a dentist. The appearance of a subgingital abscess can lead to serious complications: cardiovascular disease, heart attack or stroke.
