Three-symptom Gougereau-Duperre syndrome

Duperre Gudjero trisymptom syndrome is a rare disease characterized by attacks of muscle weakness, diplopia (double vision), and dizziness. Symptoms may develop gradually or suddenly, with dizziness usually appearing first. Most often, three-symptom syndrome develops in men over 40 years of age. This type of disease can occur during pregnancy, hormonal and endocrine changes. Viral infections, atherosclerosis, and angina pectoris can provoke the onset of the disease. To date, the exact causes of the development of the disease have not been clarified.

Symptoms of the disease are:

* Dizziness lasts from 1 day to a week; * Diplopia – double vision in one or both eyes; * Weakness of muscles and in different limbs;

Most often, doctors diagnose Triple-Duperre-Gougerre Syndrome if any of the above symptoms are present, although patients with one or more symptoms are even more likely to develop the syndrome than those with only three. Unlike other types of dizziness, this is accompanied by sharply limited rotation of the head, lasting from a few seconds to a day; frequency of development - from one to five times a day. Sometimes symptoms are accompanied by severe weakness in certain muscle groups. Often, the Duperre-Gougeder syndrome of three symptoms is accompanied by impaired coordination of movements and increased fatigue. Gujerre Duperre syndrome can last from a few days to a couple of months, after which the symptoms disappear. But, unfortunately, they manifest themselves with renewed vigor, with coordination deteriorating and headaches occurring. Many people experience visual displacement, and diplopia may occur briefly during a migraine. The duration of the disease increases significantly in the presence of cardiovascular diseases, since they provoke disturbances in the blood supply to the brain.

It should be borne in mind that the syndrome can develop not only due to age-related changes in the body, but also due to certain pathologies in the functioning of the endocrine system. There are also often situations where the duration of the syndrome increases when it develops again after treatment. For example, this can happen during a course of restoration of venous circulation to the brain.
