Sclerectasia

Sclerectasia is a pathology of the eyeball - thinning of its lens capsule and a change in its structure. In this case, the following are noted: deterioration of vision (the appearance of a “pair”), panic fear, a feeling of pressure in the eyes, and the appearance of pain. The main symptoms of the disease include: excessive lacrimation, pain in the eye, decreased visual acuity. Often, sclerectomy is prescribed when the pathology progresses to a high degree. During surgery, the operated eye is fixed and held in a stationary position. After completion of the operation, the applied sterile ophthalmic suture is removed. A few minutes after the operation, the skin of the eyelids is treated with a medical composition - a disinfectant solution.

The invisible fluid filling the inside of the eye causes the inside of the eye socket to expand and make vision difficult. This phenomenon is called adhesions, which in turn can be easily removed surgically, during which sclerodilator plates or scleral dilation plates are installed
