Solvimin

The drug Solvimin is a veterinary medicinal product intended to compensate for the deficiency of amino acids in the diet of animals and other living creatures. It is used for deficiency of lysine, tryptophan, methionine in cats and dogs.

The main manufacturer of the drug is Krka Veterinary, the country of origin is Slovenia. Solvimin is produced in the form of a powder, which is packaged in 100 gram bags. The drug is a powder, white or slightly yellowish in color, without a specific odor. Solvimina is easily soluble in water and has no taste, which allows it to be used in animal feed. The drug is packaged in boxes whose material can be recycled. The contents may be considered potentially hazardous material if the packaging is damaged. It is a pharmacological analogue of an artificial mixture of amino acids, therefore, it is not considered an amino acid concentrate.
