Squamous cell carcinoma - (s.planocellularea; syn.: r.spinocellular, p.epidermoidos) - a neoplasm characterized by an atypical structure of squamous epithelial cells of various organs. Clinical manifestations of squamous cell carcinoma depend on the location of the disease. The main symptoms of squamous cell carcinoma are enlarged lymph nodes, local and general dysfunction of the organs of the oral cavity and pharynx, general malaise, and malnutrition.
