Midline Anterior

**Midline (M. linea mediana, synonym C. linealis)** - is a bony line running from the lower edge of the anterior cranial fossa upward, through the nose area to the alveolar parts of the upper jaw; crosses the zygomatic bone along the edge of the lower orbit and goes to the roof of the frontal sinus; crosses the base of the skull and goes towards the I-II cervical vertebrae.

**Anterior midpoint (punctum medianum anterius)** is the intersection of the horizontal plane passing along the level of the apex of the frontal bone and the vertical plane passing through the inner lower corner of the wing of the nose.
