Stamlo is a drug that is used to treat hypertension and angina. It is a calcium channel blocker that reduces calcium levels in the heart, resulting in decreased blood pressure and dilation of blood vessels.

The manufacturer of the drug is the Indian company Doctor Reddy's. The international name of the drug is Amlodipine. It is available in the form of 5 and 10 mg tablets.

The main indications for prescribing Stamlo are: - arterial hypertension; - angina pectoris (stable and vasospastic) in patients with high blood pressure.

Contraindications: - hypersensitivity to the drug; - low blood pressure less than 90 millimeters of mercury; - shock; - myocardial infarction (acute); - aortic and mitral stenosis; - sinus node dysfunction; - heart failure; - dysfunction of the kidneys and liver.

Side effects: 1. From the cardiovascular system: palpitations, facial flushing, arrhythmia. 2. From the nervous system: drowsiness, fatigue, headache. 3. From the digestive system: stool upset, nausea. 4. From the respiratory system: shortness of breath. 5. Skin reactions: exudative erythema multiforme, skin itching. 6. From the skeletal system: arthralgia, myalgia, paresthesia, pain in muscles and joints. 7. Other: gum hyperplasia, gynecomastia, increased levels of transaminases in the blood.

Interaction with other drugs: Stamlo can enhance the effect of narcotic analgesics, antihypertensive drugs, anterior pituitary secretion inhibitors, antidepolarizing muscle relaxants, hypoglycemic drugs, ACE inhibitors.

Overdose: increased peripheral vascular reflex, prolonged decrease in blood pressure, tachycardia, convulsions, increased heart rate.

Special instructions: During pregnancy and lactation, taking Stamlo is strictly contraindicated. If necessary, consult a doctor.
