***Supraventricular tachycardia*** - (lat. tachуcardia “rapid heartbeat”) is a clinical syndrome characterized by increased heart rate (more than 110 beats per minute). Tachycardia is based on an increase in the action potential of cardiomyocytes while maintaining the sinus pacemaker of the heart.
