Thalamus Ventral

The size of the parietal nucleus is greater than the size of the thalamic nucleus, connected to the dentate nuclei of the brain stem. Between these two nuclei, located on either side of the medulla oblongata, there is a vertical fissure. Both groups of nuclear cells have transverse and longitudinal striations inside the nucleus with thickening in the outer section. The external thalamic nucleus is formed by a group of cells that have a large number of dendrites and do not have large bodies. The posterior half of the thalamus has a characteristic cheek. The cellular composition of the thalamus includes neurons whose bodies are formed by large cells. There are such types of thalamus as: Ventral, Dorsal, La
