Tarsoplasty

Tarzoplasty is a type of blepharoplasty, plastic surgery on the eyelids. Tarzoplasty surgically restores the normal shape and function of the tarsal plate, the cartilaginous base of the eyelids.

Tarzoplasty is performed for excess skin on the eyelids (dermatochalasis), drooping upper eyelid (ptosis), and also to correct everted or turned inward eyelids (entropion, ectropion).
