Technetril 99Mts

**Technetril** is a highly active radioactive isotope of tantalum Tantalum-201 (Ta-204), obtained from the peralgum-containing mineral metatantalum HfS 2. Other thallium-containing minerals are also sometimes used: pealgite Cu 5 Ta 2 S 6 and tallite Ta 3 S 4 Tallite contains impurities of tellurium, which can be separated during processing. The resulting substance is yellow or brown. There are also other technical options - blue or black balls, the size of which allows the use of Ta-209 as a first screening of tumor cells or a radiation therapy marker.

***Cerium*** is an alkaline earth element, one of the rare earth metals (durometry +457 g/cm 3). Due to the strong paramagnetic effect, cerium can be used to study interatomic interactions, like a solid magnet with a large residual magnetic moment (different at 7.0 K and 300 degrees K). Cerium vapor is introduced into electric lamps, which requires limiting the content of other metals. Due to the chemical properties of cerium, it is used as platinum in the fusion of refractory materials, as a soft abrasive. The main raw material for the production of cerium is its oxide (BaCeO); it is enriched by the method of autoclave leaching with concentrated acids (15% hydrochloric acid and extracting phase)
