Tetanus Idiopathic

Tetanus is a severe infectious disease manifested by cramps of striated muscles with a drop in blood pressure and cardiac dysfunction, spasm of the respiratory muscles and rapid development of asphyxia. The causative agent of this disease is Clostridium tetani, which is in the form of spores. Tetanus toxin contains bacillin, a protein that has a neurotoxic effect. Bacillin spores germinate into vegetative forms that grow well on special media. Thus, toxins produced by vegetative forms are produced in huge quantities, as a result of which, after their use, pain develops (otitis media, injury), as well as damage to the nervous system, leading to the manifestation of tetanus.
