Thyroiditis Chronic

Chronic thyroiditis (thyroiditis chronica), or Athyroiditis, is a disease of the thyroid gland that causes inflammatory damage and the development of areas of dense connective tissue in it. It is a type of chronic autoimmune thyroiditis and is much less common than subacute thyroiditis.
