Tomopneumoretroperitoneography

Tomopneumoretroperitoneography is a new method for diagnosing diseases of the abdominal organs and retroperitoneal space. This method is based on a combination of computed tomography (CT) and pneumo-retroperitoneography (PRG), which allows you to obtain a more accurate and detailed picture of the condition of organs and tissues.

CT is a method of examining internal organs using x-rays. It allows you to obtain a three-dimensional image of the abdominal organs, retroperitoneal space and other organs. CT is one of the most accurate diagnostic methods, but it does not always provide complete information about the condition of the organs.

PRG is a method that allows you to determine air pressure in the peritoneum and retroperitoneal space. This is important for diagnosing diseases associated with impaired outflow of fluid from the abdominal cavity or retroperitoneal space, such as ascites, liver cirrhosis, renal failure and others.

The combination of CT and PRG allows us to obtain a more complete picture of the condition of the abdominal organs and retroperitoneal space. The method allows you to detect even small changes in tissues and organs that may not be noticeable during normal examination.

Tomopneumoretroperitoneography is widely used in surgery and medicine, especially in the diagnosis of diseases of the abdominal organs. This method allows you to detect tumors, cysts, abscesses and other diseases at an early stage, which increases the effectiveness of treatment and reduces the risk of complications.

Tomopneumoretroperitoneography -

Tomopneumoneurogenitoureterorectoperitoneumiegraphy(1). — a method of instrumental radiodiagnosis of injuries and diseases of the retroperitoneal space [1].

It is a synclinical method of radiation and percussion diagnostics [2]. The method is used for acute and chronic diseases [3], and for thermal injuries [4]. The term was first used in 1968 by I.V. Ivanov [5].
