Vacuum Abortion

Vacuum-abortion or vacuum-excision is a medical procedure that is used to terminate a pregnancy up to 22 weeks. It is performed in cases where conventional abortion methods cannot be used or are used as an alternative.

Vacuum abortions are performed only in specialized medical institutions and under the supervision of a doctor. The procedure involves using a special device called a vacuum plug, which sucks the fetus through the cervix and destroys it. The vacuum pump is then removed and the uterus is cleared of fetal debris.
