Ventrosuspension of the uterus

**Uterine ventrosuspendium** is a surgical procedure in which a doctor removes the uterus through the vagina and lowers it down to relieve pressure on internal organs and relieve pain from endometriosis, cervical cancer, or other diseases. In Russia, this procedure is included in the official list of medical interventions.

The ventral uterine cavity is the space that forms between the uterus and the anterior abdominal wall. This space may be filled with fluid or organs, such as an ovarian cyst. Ventrosuspension of the uterus involves surgically removing organs from the cavity and surgically repositioning and supporting the uterus to prevent it from descending into the area. This condition is often manifested by acute pain in the lower abdomen.

Ventrosuspensing the uterus goes through the following stages:

- diagnostics. The doctor evaluates the condition and causes - diseases of the genital organs can be identified. But some studies are performed instrumentally, using a computed tomograph or ultrasound; - creation of access. The surgeon makes an incision in the anterior wall of the abdomen and vagina; deleting content. The anterior wall of the bladder is examined; its contents are deleted or deleted; then the uterus is examined, if necessary. tumors are removed and other parts of the pelvic wall are removed; blood breakdown products are removed; guts that interfere with manipulation are removed; retroperitoneal adipose tissue is dissected, which will allow manipulation of the uterus to begin; other pelvic organs are diagnosed; the general condition of the patient is assessed; - installation of a mesh to support the uterus. After the operation, it does not move, maintaining its normal position for life. They are made only from fibers of modern materials;

When the cyst is removed, it is possible to preserve most of the patient’s organs and tissues, preventing the possibility of complications and significantly reducing the duration of the body’s recovery.
