Verbigeration

Verbal reproduction of a text (verbigeration) is the process of repeatedly pronouncing a text out loud by a person without the opportunity to finish the statement upon completion. These mental speech disturbances can be short-term (for example, when reading, worrying) and persistent, periodically recurring with extreme expression of mental stress in the individual. This systemic mental disorder manifests itself extremely negatively at all levels of a person’s mental organization. A synonym for the term “verbigeration” is zaum – meaningless repetition of individual words or phrases
