Viferon ointment has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. Used for the treatment and prevention of herpes and other viral diseases of the skin and mucous membranes.

The ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment ranges from 2 weeks to 1 month.

Viferon ointment is well tolerated, side effects are extremely rare. The drug is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to the components.
