Vulvovaginitis Trichomonas

Vulvo-vaginitis or vaginal candidiasis manifests itself as inflammation of the vagina as a result of changes in microflora, painful swelling of the vulvar tissue and discomfort during sexual intercourse. Since one of the symptoms of trichomoniasis is inflammation, in such cases the patient is diagnosed with vulvo/vaginosis.

The appearance of discomfort (unpleasant odor, discharge and itching) occurs due to irritation of the mucous membrane by discharge from the genital tract. Inflammation most often occurs in women with menstrual irregularities, chronic hypertension and neurological disorders. One of the reasons for the development of vulvo-vulvitis or trichomoniasis vaginitis is considered to be gastrointestinal pathologies, dysbacteriosis and reduced immunity. Other reasons include prolonged wearing of synthetic pads, wearing tight underwear made of rough materials and insufficient hygiene or, conversely, frequent douching.
