Wand

***Rod*** is a structurally and morphologically homogeneous form of a microbe, consisting of a cylindrical, branching or non-branching body in the form of a straight or curved thread of varying length and thickness. The main difference from other forms is the absence of a separate cell wall and a formed nucleus.

Under the microscope, characteristic morphological signs of such microorganisms are visible, such as: + unicellularity with weakly expressed polarity of the ends and (or) the location of the main aminopolysaccharide; *curvature of the axis or branching during growth and movement without changing the shape of the body; + differentiation of cells into two types of coccoid cells: bacilli and cocci in different sizes, depending on their structure and origin.

In the karyoplasm of the bacteria, the main components were found that ensure the vital functions of the body: + nucleic acid - DNA nucleoprotein for keeping information about the genesis and characteristics of cell metabolism; + ribosomes – a biomolecular apparatus that synthesizes the molecular components of cells and their structural parts;
