An esophageal pressure ulcer is a chronic condition that can occur as a result of chronic exposure to stomach acid or other environmental factors. It is characterized by the formation of cracks and ulcers on the walls of the esophagus. As a result of this process, food may not be completely digested and lead to diseases of the stomach and intestines.
