Composition: Each 5 ml of syrup contains: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide - 5 mg, Bromhexine hydrochloride - 4 mg, Ammonium chloride - 50 mg, Menthol - 2.5 mg

Indications for use: The drug is intended to relieve the symptoms of colds, flu and ARVI, accompanied by cough

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy and lactation, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum (in the acute stage), simultaneous use of other drugs containing substances included in the drug Zedex, children's age (up to 6 years). With caution: Hepatic and/or renal failure, bronchial asthma.

Side effects: Dyspeptic symptoms, exacerbation of peptic ulcer, allergic reactions (skin rash, rhinitis, etc.), increased levels of transaminases in the blood serum, drowsiness, sleep disturbance, increased excitability (especially in children).

Interaction: Zedex can be prescribed simultaneously with other drugs used in the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases. Zedex is not prescribed simultaneously with antitussives (including those containing codeine). Bromhexine, which is part of the drug Zedex, promotes the penetration of antibiotics (erythromycin, cephalexin, oxytetracycline, ampicillin, amoxicillin) into the lung tissue.
