The predecessor of the products in this range is a moisturizing fluid created in the 70s and still remains a bestseller. Like its ancestor, Ultra Facial Cream participated in an expedition to Everest, and was also tested in the harsh conditions of Greenland, proving in practice its ability to protect the skin in extremely low temperatures and strong winds.

Its advantages do not end there. The cream has a rich but light universal texture that suits any skin type, as well as:

moisturizes and prevents moisture evaporation in mode 24/7;

calms down skin and gives it a feeling of complete comfort in any conditions.

Squalane — the highest quality oil obtained from olives is similar to skin fats, so it easily integrates into the hydrolipidic barrier and strengthens it.

Limited edition Kiehl's + Craig & Karl collection. Ultra Facial Cream and Creme de Corps

For many years in a row, the Kiehl’s brand has been developing a history of joint projects with the world of artists. This year, especially for the New Year, Kiehl’s is presenting a limited collection of iconic products and gift packaging from the famous creative duo Craig & Karl. The collection includes the brand's bestsellers - Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner Alcohol-Free, Creme de Corps body cream and Creme de Corps whipped body cream. These products are presented in fashionable holiday packaging, and the rest can be packaged in gift bags and boxes, the design of which is also the work of Craig & Karl.

I have two limited edition holiday products - Ultra Facial Cream and Creme de Corps Body Cream. Since I have known them very well for a long time, I will share my impressions of using them. I love both products very much, so I’m incredibly glad that I now have them in such a beautiful design.

Ultra Facial Cream
I got this cream at the beginning of summer. For my oily skin it turned out to be a little heavy in the heat, so I decided to put it off until the fall. In the fall, as I expected, my skin became drier. True, I didn’t think it would be so dry. That's when I got Ultra Facial Cream. At first, I was still somewhat afraid that it might clog my pores, since I thought it was for dry skin. But, having carefully studied the composition and not finding anything suspicious or comedogenic there, I decided to take a risk.

As it turned out later, I did exactly the right thing. When I was in the Kiehl's corner, I had a skin diagnosis. She turned out to be combination, prone to oiliness (nothing new for me) and completely dehydrated (which turned out to be a big surprise). The expert selected care products for me, among which was Ultra Facial Cream.

It is suitable for all skin types that need hydration. The cream is thick, but it has a completely non-greasy texture. It is absorbed very quickly and does not leave a film or greasy feeling on the skin. The face “breathes” under it, now it doesn’t seem heavy to me at all, just what I need.

It perfectly moisturizes the skin. My flaking and feeling of tightness are gone. Under the cream you can apply any serum that will solve skin problems (if any), and Ultra Facial Cream on top for intense hydration. I also really like that the cream is unscented.

Body cream Creme de Corps
My acquaintance with the Creme de Corps line took place about 5 years ago, when we did not yet have Kiehl’s stores, but we already had fame and rave reviews. Therefore, when I found myself in Paris, Kiehl’s was one of the first on my list. I decided to start with the best sellers, and one of the purchases was the Creme de Corps body cream. Since it was just before the New Year, I took the cream in a limited edition. But not ordinary, but whipped Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter with the aroma of honey and soy milk. Then I just fell in love with its smell! So New Year's, sweet, festive!

It had an amazing whipped texture, like a soufflé. It absorbed quite quickly and perfectly moisturized the skin. However, over time, the smell began to “suffocate” me. Although it is incredibly tasty, it is very sweet. But, since I really liked the caring properties of the cream, the next time I bought regular Creme de Corps, which I now have in a beautiful limited edition holiday form.

So it stuck with me for a long time. It is well absorbed and perfectly moisturizes the skin even in winter. It instantly relieves the feeling of tightness and dryness. And it is impossible not to note that the cream is available in different volumes. The smallest one, 75 ml, is convenient to take with you on trips. And the largest one, 500 ml, as in my photos, is ideal for home, as it has a convenient dispenser (I love body creams with a dispenser!).

And the most important thing for me is that it is odorless! Therefore, it can never get boring.

So I completely understand why these particular products have become Kiehl's bestsellers. They are pleasant to use, they have convenient packaging, good composition and, most importantly, they work.

Kiehl's is one of the brands that I have a fondness for, although it's hard to say where that comes from. I think this is primarily because of their thoroughness in customer service - after our joint project to evaluate the quality of their consultants, I have never respected any brand so much.

My latest favorites are the Travel Tested Solutions line, which was previously only sold in duty free, but is now also available in Articoli. I often travel somewhere, and when in April they finally allowed me to carry cosmetics up to 100 ml in hand luggage again, I immediately put hand cream and face spray with cactus and ginseng from this line in my purse.

The peculiarity of this cream is that it not only moisturizes, but also cleanses at the same time (works as an antiseptic); in addition to cactus extract for moisturizing and ginseng for cellular respiration, it contains a mixture of essential oils (lavender, geranium and rosemary). It’s a bit of an unusual feeling at first, but I, a girl who doesn’t like hand creams in general, ended up liking it. Well, the spray is a worthy alternative to thermal water, which everyone loves so much, but I still don’t understand why and why -).

Another good and favorite product is Supremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. Of course, I am a fan of micellar waters, but they cannot be called gentle products - but such a creamy product can be. For some reason it seems to me that it is more delicate than all the others, and it removes makeup perfectly.

And, of course, you shouldn’t pass by Creme de Corps, I have it in the Body Butter format, I adore such textures and this is a rare case when I actually smear something on my body.

What to take? Yana's choice

I’ve loved Kiehl’s for so long and so devotedly that it’s difficult to talk about this brand, like a close friend you’ve known since kindergarten. An indirect indicator of its effectiveness and coolness for me, for example, is that in the cult Colette store in Paris, a fashion mecca for fashion gourmets around the world, in a small beauty department, where the most advanced products always appear, and space on the shelves is limited, Kiehl's is sold several years in a row. Despite the fact that brands there replace each other with kaleidoscopic speed.

The ratio of “efficiency - price - quality - ease of use” at Kiehl’s is simply perfect. And I personally get hooked on some of their products, like a drug. Considering how many products and brands I have to try every month in order to keep up with the rapidly moving beauty locomotive, the fact that I have been using this bottle for several years in a row speaks for itself.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

If the day is spent in a wind that freezes/burns out all living things, or in negotiations that freeze out all living things, this concentrate returns calm to the skin. And most importantly, it calms your head. The aroma is such that novo-passit is not needed. I apply it to my palms and I’m already smiling, like a cat anticipating a dose of valerian. And this is one of those three products that I definitely take with me to Corfu on a yacht. Our entire team, including the captain, usually uses it. And you know, you can’t take these sea wolves in jars :)

You see, even about one remedy, a whole poem has turned out. Therefore, I’ll tell you about the rest of my favorite “kills” in another post.

In the meantime, I want to draw your attention to this new product - Micro-Blur Skin Perfector. It literally went on sale yesterday or today. And Russia is one of the first countries in Europe where this thing is already on sale.

This, no fools, is a new generation product. Not BB or SS, but Blur. It works not with skin tone, but with its texture. Mattifies, reduces pores, smoothes out unevenness. Much more reliable than many primers. And, unlike primers, it works as a treatment too - it is clinically proven that after 4 weeks of use, the size of the pores actually (and not just in appearance) is reduced. In addition to dimethicone, which visually polishes the skin, the composition contains lipohydroxy acid and lentil extract.

I have been regularly testing the product for several days. It should be applied morning and evening as the final step of care. That is, after serum and cream. The impressions are the most positive: the pores do not get clogged, the face does not stick, plus it still gives a light tint (very light, but transparent, it will also be just right for dark-skinned people). And I really like the smell - so fresh, cheerful. In general, long live Photoshop + care in one bottle.

And this cream is such a joy to me... And the jar is big, yes! It is spent very economically :) When I have nothing to spend, for some reason I always remember about the economy of spending when I take out my credit card at the checkout. Overall, I love this cream. It elevates my own bathroom in my own eyes, and at the same time, me in it:)

3. Balms for the area around the eyes Baume De La mer The Eye Concentrate and The Eye Balm Intense.

My mother loves these products very much. After surgery on her eyes, they became wildly sensitive. Anything that goes wrong is immediately an allergy. And some don't help at all. And others make their eyes swell. So my mom, not really knowing what it costs (and I wisely don’t tell her this), and not really understanding what brands we consider cool here, just noticed that these eye products are the best.

In general, I will please my mother tomorrow, yes.

4. La Mer lip balm
