I was very pleased with the L’Oreal Elseve Full Recovery 5 restorative mask for damaged hair. The jar format is inconvenient for me - while there you will catch this lid with slippery hands, while you close it, there is nothing to do, almost all products of this format come in jars.
The jar screws on without much effort until it clicks—it’s convenient.

The mask itself is thick in consistency, does not run, fingerprints remain in it until the next use.

My hair is dyed, partially bleached, thin, quite thick, damaged. The ends hardly split, but they are very dry and tend to stick out in different directions. They get very confused. I don’t use a hairdryer, I dry my hair with a pillow at night - I go to bed with wet hair (For those interested: no, I don’t think it’s harmful. And certainly not more harmful than regularly exposing my hair to heat.) The ends of my regrown hair curl from exposure to hot air up and the hair looks like a shaggy rug.

The mask pleasantly surprised me. I didn’t expect anything particularly outstanding from it - usually after such products I fill myself with leave-in conditioners, sprays and oils. This mask works almost perfectly. I miss a little of its nutrition on the ends; they still puff up in different directions and are a bit dry, but along the length it works just fine.

The manufacturer advises keeping the mask on for 3-5 minutes, this way it works better; I use masks instead of conditioner once every two days, and I don’t always have the time/desire to keep it on for that long, so I’m especially pleased that the mask works great as a one-minute or even thirty-second mask. In this case, it removes frizz a little worse, but the hair remains “slippery” (I look for this effect in products), detangles and combs perfectly. Overall, feels smooth and flexible.

The mask doesn’t seem to steal volume, but it’s difficult for me to navigate here - I simply don’t have it; Doesn't speed up paint washout. I feel the cumulative effect on my hair is minimal. At the very beginning of its use, with the slightest withdrawal, the hair was in its previous condition, now I can alternate it with less effective products, and my hair will be the same as after using the mask.
I will definitely buy again, especially if I buy a poorly functioning air conditioner.

I’ll start with what led to the purchase of the mask and what effect was needed from its use.

One sunny autumn day, I decided to make my hair, dull after the summer, brighter. I went shopping, chose the right shade of paint, came home and got to work. After dyeing (which I’ll tell you about a little later), the color was beautiful, but the quality of the hair did not change for the better. I won’t say it’s a complete nightmare, but the condition of my hair was ruined. Naturally, this matter had to be corrected somehow.

Since my hair became terribly frizzy after washing and during styling, I needed something that would moisturize it, nourish it from the inside and make it heavier. The mask manufacturer promised to solve 5 problems with this miracle mask. Among the loud promises, it was stated that it would bring damaged hair from the inside and outside back to life! Of course, I believe in miracles, but somehow I don’t believe in the miracles of advertising, but I still decided to try. With the hope that at least some of the promises will come true.

What is going to happen:

The mask is very simple to use, like a regular hair balm. Apply to the entire length of the hair (not to the roots), leave for 2-3 minutes and rinse with water. Those. you do not need to walk for a long time with a mask, no additional manipulations are needed (for example, warming your hair).

The consistency of the mask is also similar to hair balm. More liquid than thick.

Smell: I liked it, it’s sweet, it stays on the hair for a long time, it lasts even after drying. But still, I suspect that not everyone will like it; some may find it harsh.

It is washed off the hair quite easily, it smoothes the hair with a bang, and during the rinsing process the hair is smooth and crumbly. No balm needed. You definitely shouldn’t mix them in one wash, otherwise the effect will be “not iced”, the hair will hang in icicles and not look fresh.

I think due to the regular silicones in the composition, the effect of the mask is achieved, this does not bother me, but it will 100% turn off someone.

I was satisfied with the result from the mask: my hair is not frizzy, not electrified, moderately weighted, shiny and feels elastic.

After each wash, I style my hair with a hairdryer, which naturally doesn’t do it any good, but while using the mask it definitely hasn’t gotten worse, quite the opposite. Which is very pleasing!
