11. Fraxel - opinions differ... I first read information from professionals that there is no better laser for stretch marks. But reviews vary greatly. Some people find it helpful, others don’t. I won't do it. Information varies, and the price is much higher(

Don't even be afraid! My mother had it done to me in Yekaterinburg, I don’t remember the price, her stretch marks were old, now they’re not noticeable at all! They did it with a laser, modern technologies allow you to do such a mini-operation without anesthesia, they only apply anesthetic cream. I struggled for many years, probably about 7 years. First with chemical peels and meso peels, then I did nanoperfaration in lineline (I probably did it 4-5 times) I also did it at some hospital I don’t remember what it’s called (2 times) I don’t know if there was any dynamics , but it’s still very visible. But laser resurfacing is not done anywhere in Yekaterinburg because it requires a hospital due to the long rehabilitation period.
I first removed stretch marks using Akupals, then using Fraxel I corrected the result, it helped me! I did it in Mirrameda in St. Petersburg.

But I haven’t given birth and have never been fat! I was born like this. With stretch marks and breasts weighing. I don’t know what kind of curse this is. I don’t know what it comes from. Moreover, there is no money. And here if there are implants and also a laser. And there are scars on my face after the illness. I counted almost a million. And where can I get that kind of money? Thanks to our doctors! They are simply geniuses! Already at 16, I noticed that my breasts were growing differently. We went to the doctors but they said that there was nothing wrong with everything going as it should! And they didn’t prescribe any ointments. Breast surgeons only touched breasts with pleasure. And by 22 it became so terrible.
I removed stretch marks that were 10 years old, the doctor promised that they would smooth out greatly in a few procedures. After one procedure they were completely gone. I advise everyone. Palomar laser. The main thing is to consult a doctor at a medical center, because the skin injury is very severe, so that there are no burns.

tell me where you did it?
Hello girls, I did three laser procedures but from lineline, nanoperforation twice and grinding once, I’ll tell you the effect is almost 0%, but I didn’t stop there. For the New Year, my boss gave me an electronic foot file soll, out of curiosity I decided to do it on my stomach, you won’t believe it, I did it for 2 months in a row with an interval of 1.5-2 weeks, first of all it didn’t hurt, there was a little redness where I got carried away more. ;. Firstly, the skin is very tightened, secondly, stretch marks that are wide become much thinner. I had three stretch marks the size of a thumb, now smaller than the little finger, and the depth has decreased significantly and the tummy is smooth, recently I also tried chemical resurfacing to enhance the effect😡 to enhance the effect, well, you’ve probably seen Japanese socks in the pharmacy, yes..yes. It was with these that I decided to remove them completely. I made just one sock: I cut off all the sides and put it on my stomach, wrapped it in cling tape and lay there for 3 hours, maybe a little more, went and washed it off, in addition the old layer of skin was washed off, the effect was in about a week indescribable skin is smooth, new and at the same time barely noticeable stretch marks, even those that were wide, they have become very invisible, another week after recovery I will continue to use the soll brush until I am completely rid of the wide ones that haunt me. I’ll write off how there won’t even be a point left. In general, it's cheap and cheerful. Who wants a real result, and not the empty promises of cosmetologists that the result will be after the 5th procedure, then do it at home and believe in yourself, you will succeed😜😂
Hello everyone, how much does it cost in Voronezh to remove stretch marks?
Hello girls! I gave birth six months ago, my second child, stretch marks appeared on my stomach and breasts, I want to make them invisible and so that the relief is smoothed out, I want to do procedures using Fraxel CO 2, who has this method really helped, I’m waiting for reviews?
Hello. Please tell me which clinic in Moscow is best to remove stretch marks and with what device?
I have terrible stretch marks on my chest and stomach after pregnancy. 1-3 cm wide. I had laser resurfacing in March. They injected me with painkillers, so it didn’t hurt. But then there was hellish pain for a week. I took painkillers and applied lidocaine ointment every 3-4 hours. There was pigmentation for 2-3 months, then it disappeared. But there is NO result. I was warned that several procedures would need to be done. But I hoped that I would at least see something after such hard labor!
Laser stretch mark removal is a temporary result for several years? Or if you delete them, are they corrected forever?
Recommend a good stretch mark removal clinic in Moscow. Thanks

I gave myself CO2 on February 30th, my stretch marks are deep and wide, the result is barely visible, I will continue + take collagen injections, write to me, I will be glad to share the results
[/quote I have already done two procedures on the Fraxel restor device, so far there is no special effect ((((
I did three laser resurfacing procedures (I lost weight sharply, stretch marks appeared on my thighs) The break was about a month to a month and a half. I had it done at the private clinic "Magnolia". It was painful the first time (I didn’t realize that you needed to take painkillers before and not after the procedure), but I was very pleased with the result, after the first week, when the crust came off, it was noticeable that the situation had changed for the better, before that I tried a lot of things. By the way, I liked the doctor, she was a very calm, imperturbable woman, she explained everything, wrote it down, and warned me that I shouldn’t be afraid of what I would see immediately after the procedure.
Please tell me, is stretch marks considered still fresh after a year?)
Anya, do you have wide stretch marks? Haven't they even become thinner? I'm shocked! Girls, I'm from St. Petersburg. Today at LinLine I had nanoperfaration done for stretch marks on the stomach and hips. The doctor's name is Svetlana, very nice and friendly. I paid 8 thousand rubles because the volume fit into one zone. The procedure is tolerated and lasts 30 minutes for this volume of zones. Now everything is burning terribly. I apply Bepanthen. I’ll write about the result in a month, I hope it will happen and I’ll decide on a second procedure in June, although Svetlana advises doing an interval of 2 months, and not a month, as they usually write in advertising. If you have questions, write, I’ll be happy to answer!
Hi all! I'll tell you my story.
I'm from Belarus. I'm 26. I have stretch marks on my buttocks, and they are 12-14 years old. Yes, I saw photos of girls after pregnancy, my stretch marks can’t compare with those, but since I’ve had them almost my entire adult life, getting rid of them has become an obsession for me.
I started fighting them when I was 21-22 years old. Creams, gels, massages - nothing helps! At the age of 24 I decided to try laser.
I went to the clinic (I won’t describe the name, prices, doctors, because I think there’s no point, everything is the same everywhere, and the doctors were different every time, that’s how it turned out). The clinic directly told me that it would not be possible to remove them completely. I went in November so that by summer I could already sunbathe. I did 5 procedures with a month between procedures.
According to the procedure. I had skin resurfacing done with an erbium laser. This procedure was not called microperforation or nanoperforation, as they like to write on the Internet. In fact, the doctor looks at the condition of the stretch marks, skin type and selects the right laser at the right wavelength for you. My procedure can be classified as microperforation, although in fact the wavelength is not the same.
The procedure is very painful, I took painkillers but they didn’t help much. After the procedure, you cannot sit on your butt for 2-3 days. Sleeping is simply terrible and only with painkillers. It is difficult to take care of the skin; for the first 7 days I was recommended argosulfan + chlorhexedine. There is blood and ichor, everything sticks, in winter it’s just a nightmare. You can't wash it for 5 days. Then crusts form. Everything goes away in a month.
I kept a photo diary. It seems that after 5 procedures there is no sense. But I was told that the skin would take six months to recover.
After six months I took a photo - it’s clear that some of the stretch marks are gone. And in fact, I was pleased. What are the advantages: stretch marks began to tan! This has never happened before. The skin became tightened and elastic. The photo is only of the right buttock, as it is the worst. There is almost nothing left on the left.
But I decided not to stop there and six months later I went again, to the second stage. It was the beginning of 2016. The doctor said that my skin was “polished” enough and there was no need for any more resurfacing procedures. I was told to make "Deep Neodymium". This procedure uses a neodymium laser to tighten the skin structure. That is, it acts deep into the skin without damaging the surface. The procedure is much easier to tolerate. The burn is like after a sunburn, and then it only peels off slightly.
What can I say about this procedure? I saw the result immediately after 2 weeks, although the doctor said only after 3 months. Yes, they told me that I need to do the procedure a maximum of 3 times, no more.
The final photos are fresh, just taken. I'm happy with the result through the roof. On the left buttock we can consider that there is nothing left. On the right, the stretch marks remain, but they can only be seen by stretching the skin and under certain light. In daylight, almost nothing is visible. If you get a tan and pump up your butt, it seems to me that it will be ideal.

As a result, my “treatment” took 2 years and a lot of money. But if you want, then even very old stretch marks can be removed (made almost invisible).

I had stretch marks removed on February 15, 2014 at the Europe cosmetology clinic, located at the end of Leninsky Prospekt. They took a lot of money. In 3 days it will be a month already, but the redness remains strong, does not go away and I am afraid that it will last for a long time. Instead of white stripes, the entire chest is now red. They talk unfriendly on the phone, like, this is how it should be and when it will pass, they don’t say it themselves. I think it's the doctor's incompetence. I plan to sue them. I don't recommend anyone to go there.

Horrible Clinic. Agree. They almost burned my face there when they did the cleaning.. It was terrible and unpleasant.. The staff is disgusting, don’t go..
Stretch marks on the body (striae) look very unsightly and cause significant psychological discomfort. This cosmetic defect forces you to refuse to wear open clothing or visit the beach or pool. It is not easy to restore the skin to its former attractiveness, but modern aesthetic cosmetology has in its arsenal several unique methods that allow it to cope with the deficiency. One of the most effective and safest methods is considered laser stretch mark removal.
The use of this procedure in most cases can effectively eliminate stretch marks. If, for a number of reasons, it is impossible to completely get rid of the defect, the use of a laser helps to noticeably improve the condition of the skin and makes stretch marks less noticeable. In this article we will dwell in more detail on what stretch marks are, why they appear, we will tell you how to deal with the defect using a laser and what are the features, advantages and disadvantages of this procedure.
What are stretch marks and why do they appear?
Stretch marks or stretch marks are peculiar atrophic changes in the skin. They look like narrow wavy stripes of different shades (from white to red-violet). Stretch marks are localized in those areas that are most often subject to the greatest stretching of the skin. Atrophic scars can appear on the abdomen, thighs, chest, and buttocks. They do not affect a person’s well-being in any way, do not cause physical discomfort and discolor over time.
Stretch marks appear due to microtraumas of the subcutaneous tissue. When the skin is overstretched, the dermis ruptures, elastin and collagen fibers are damaged, and small lymphatic and blood vessels are torn. As a result, the integrity of the outer layer of the epidermis is preserved, but a kind of gap is formed under it, which is filled with connective tissue with the gradual formation of an atrophic scar.
As a result, narrow red-bluish stripes are formed on the skin of the abdomen, chest, and thighs, located parallel or radially. The relief of such strips can be retracted or convex; they reach 10 cm in length and from 1 to 5 mm in width. The color of the stretch marks gradually changes and after a few months they become less noticeable. Stretch marks that appeared less than 6 months ago are considered “young.” If skin defects appeared more than 2 years ago, then such stretch marks are considered old and it is much more difficult to deal with them.
The main cause of stretch marks is considered to be hormonal imbalance and hereditary predisposition. Another reason for the appearance of defects on the skin lies in the dysfunction of the thyroid gland, adrenal glands and gonads. Recent studies have debunked the widespread myth that stretch marks appear only in women due to pregnancy. Stretch marks can form even in teenagers and children, and such changes are often associated with sudden weight gain or loss. In addition, characteristic defects in the hips and shoulder girdle appear in athletes when building muscle mass.
In the modern world, there is a cult of beautiful and young bodies, so such skin defects are perceived as a significant aesthetic flaw, which they strive to get rid of in any way. Until recently, it was impossible to eliminate stretch marks; all that was left was to hide the telltale stripes on the skin under clothes. But the beauty industry does not stand still, and cosmetologists offer the use of innovative laser technology, which can be used to eliminate stretch marks or make them less noticeable.
Laser stretch mark removal Is a resurfacing process, during which the surface layer of the epidermis is removed and the deeper layers of the skin are affected, which makes it possible to reduce the depth of atrophic scars and, after a full course of procedures, eliminate them completely. The skin is designed in such a way that damage to its surface causes the activation of fibroblasts, which trigger the processes of synthesis of elastin and collagen fibers responsible for maintaining the normal condition of the skin. During the procedure, the thermal radiation of the laser displaces connective tissue, destroys scars and, by activating collagen production, promotes rapid renewal of skin cells.
Laser radiation accelerates regeneration and restoration processes, which helps improve blood microcirculation and accelerate metabolic processes in tissues. As a result, young, elastic tissue is formed in place of the damaged skin, the sagging of the skin disappears, it becomes smooth and even, and no trace remains of unaesthetic stretch marks. In cases where stretch marks are old and deep, laser resurfacing can make them less noticeable.
Reviews for laser stretch mark removal indicate the high efficiency and safety of the procedure. Patients note that under the influence of a laser beam, the skin smoothes out, becomes soft and elastic, the color of the skin is evened out, stretch marks disappear or become almost invisible.
Types of procedure
Laser resurfacing is performed using an erbium, neodymium or carbon dioxide laser. Let's take a closer look at the features of each procedure:
- Erbium laser It is characterized by a high speed of exposure and radiation power, which allows you to quickly evaporate damaged cells. At the same time, surrounding healthy tissues are not exposed to undesirable effects. The depth of penetration of the laser beam can be controlled individually and grinding can be carried out not only on the surface of the skin, but also in deeper layers. An erbium laser with a wavelength of 2940 nm is considered the most optimal option for eliminating stretch marks and scars; its operating principle is based on ablation (layer-by-layer evaporation) of damaged tissue. It has a gentle effect; due to the short duration of the pulses, the risk of tissue burns, even on large surfaces, is minimized. Therefore, this laser resurfacing method is often called “cold”. The erbium laser does not cause the effect of skin compression and does not leave dividing (demarcation) lines between the healthy and treated skin surface. The rehabilitation period after resurfacing with an erbium laser is two times shorter than after treatment with a carbon dioxide laser, since the gentle thermal effect ensures less trauma to tissues and promotes their rapid recovery. This is the only method that can be used to resurface sensitive and dry skin.
- Carbon dioxide CO2 laser also classified as ablative, since it eliminates atrophic scars using the evaporation method. This type of laser treatment is considered the most severe, since the carbon dioxide laser damages surrounding tissue to a greater extent. Its wavelength is 10,600 nm, which ensures deep penetration into the skin (to a depth of 20 microns). This method is more traumatic and has a number of serious disadvantages, so it is used only when treating porous and oily skin.
- Neodymium laser considered the latest development in the field of aesthetic medicine, its use is optimal for eliminating scars and stretch marks. The advantage of the method is considered to be high efficiency, safety and absence of side effects. This is a non-ablative laser, meaning the radiation does not burn the surface of the scar tissue. The laser beam has only a selective effect on the internal structures of atrophic scars. The neodymium laser operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm, which, when treating stretch marks, destroys small vessels and prevents blood flow to the stretch marks, which leads to a reduction in their size and further disappearance. At the same time, the laser action activates fibroblasts, accelerates collagen production and helps restore normal, healthy skin.
Before the laser therapy procedure, the specialist must assess the condition of the skin, the nature of the damage and, in accordance with this, choose the type of laser resurfacing. This can be classical resurfacing, when a fairly large area of the surface layer of the skin is treated with laser radiation, or fractional resurfacing, when the laser beam acts in a targeted manner.
After a classical resurfacing session, the skin becomes covered with a dry crust and recovery takes about 2 weeks; when using the targeted fractional method, rehabilitation takes only 2-3 days. But in this case, to achieve a lasting, noticeable result, several laser therapy sessions will be required. The optimal interval between procedures should be from 1 to 1.5 months.
Rehabilitation period
After the procedure for removing stretch marks, redness and slight swelling may remain on the skin for 2-3 days. Dotted crusts remain at the treatment site, which peel off on their own over time; they cannot be picked off. During the recovery period, it is recommended to use healing and anti-inflammatory creams recommended by your doctor. If necessary, you can treat the skin with antiseptic solutions.
For several weeks after laser therapy, it is not recommended to visit the pool or solarium; you should refrain from going to the beach, bathhouse, sauna, and avoid taking hot baths.
ContraindicationsBefore deciding on the procedure, you should undergo a full medical examination and exclude possible contraindications. Laser stretch mark removal procedure cannot be performed in the following cases:
If there is an inflammatory process in the treatment area- During exacerbation of atopic dermatitis
- For cancer
- During pregnancy and lactation
- If you have diseases such as epilepsy or psoriasis
- For hypertension and cardiovascular pathologies
- For endocrine disorders
- If you are predisposed to the formation of keloid scars
In addition, laser resurfacing is prohibited after a fresh tan or chemical peeling, since at this time the skin is most sensitive to damaging factors. It is necessary to wait at least 2 weeks and only then begin laser treatment.
Advantages and disadvantages - before and after photos
Reviews of laser stretch mark removal note the following advantages of the procedure:
- Quick positive result. The disappearance of stretch marks is noted after the first session.
- The effectiveness and safety of the procedure, minimal risk of complications and side effects.
- Short recovery period.
- Possibility of removing even old and large stretch marks.
- The laser therapy procedure can be used on any skin type.
- During treatment sessions, healthy skin is practically not injured and surrounding tissues are not damaged.
Among the disadvantages of the method, patients note:
- Soreness. Even with the use of special cooling attachments, the painful sensations persist. Therefore, the procedure is performed using local anesthesia. In some cases, when performing deep grinding it is necessary to use anesthesia.
- High cost of the procedure. The final price consists of many factors: the complexity of the treatment, the number of procedures, the type of laser installation, the level of the clinic and the qualifications of the staff.
- To completely remove stretch marks, it may take 6 to 10 procedures. In some cases, old scars cannot be eliminated, but they can be made less noticeable.
The cost of treatment largely depends on the area of the affected area. On average, removal of 1 square. cm scar surface costs 250-300 rubles. If we consider individual areas, then the treatment of stretch marks on the stomach on average it will cost 6000 rubles, in area breasts – 9,000 rubles, price of the procedure in the zone buttocks – from 12,000 rubles.
In any case, procedures using laser require preliminary consultation and examination by a cosmetologist, who will select the optimal method of laser treatment, taking into account possible contraindications and the degree of damage to the skin. Remember that you need to deal with stretch marks as early as possible, in this case it will take less procedures and time to achieve the desired result.

Reviews for laser stretch mark removal

After giving birth, deep stretch marks of a disgusting purple color appeared all over my stomach and chest. They were very noticeable, I couldn’t go to the beach, I gave up going to the pool. I tried many expensive creams that were advertised as an ideal remedy for stretch marks, but the effect was zero. I decided to take an extreme measure and went to see a cosmetologist. The specialist suggested removing stretch marks with a laser.
The procedure was painful, the skin burned very much, despite the fact that local anesthesia was given before the session. For several days after the procedure, there was redness on the body and a dry crust remained. It could not be touched, wet or torn off. As it healed, it peeled off on its own. Well, there were some restrictions during the recovery period, for example, refusal of solariums and baths. As a result, the stretch marks on my chest almost completely disappeared. On the stomach they were deep, it was not possible to completely remove them, but they became discolored and became invisible. Therefore, the result of the treatment makes me happy.

A few years ago I was a plump, fat girl, then I took charge of myself, went on a diet, and started exercising. As a result, I lost almost 30 kilograms. Now I am a slim and attractive girl, but the whole picture is spoiled by stretch marks on my stomach, which appeared as a result of such rapid weight loss. At first they stood out quite strongly against the background of the rest of the skin, but over time they became somewhat whitish.
In the summer, the skin in these places does not tan and stretch marks stand out as white stripes. On the advice of a friend, I decided to have laser resurfacing. I did three procedures in total and noticed improvements after the first session. Now I’m completely free of stretch marks, which I’m very happy about.

I had some minor stretch marks on my thighs. I decided to have laser resurfacing, but the procedure turned out to be too painful and expensive. Therefore, I only endured one session, but it was enough for the stretch marks to become less noticeable.
When going to the beach or to the sauna, people around them do not notice them, this suits me quite well, so I’m unlikely to dare to repeat the procedure.
So I’m ready for this.
I’ll start with the fact that during pregnancy I gained 36 kg, 1 year 8 months have passed, minus 42 kg) My stomach sagged, stretch marks became very noticeable. I was going to go for thermal procedures that would tighten the skin a little, but first I took care of my face, after all, I recently turned 25! I made an appointment with a cosmetologist. She looked at the skin of the face and body, at the chemical peeling (very cool procedure, or rather the skin after it. I recommend it.), at the body... go to the next office, to the surgeon. He examined me and asked what I wanted. But I want lifting and scar removal) And only laser can do this. It sounded scary. He said, think about it, if you decide, I’ll wait for you in a week.
For a whole week I scoured the Internet, looking for reviews, videos, photos, anything at all to either make up my mind or change my mind! There was information only about laser facial resurfacing. Still not understanding what they would do to me, I called and signed up for the procedure. I decided that the Internet still wouldn’t answer all my questions, but the doctor would. After all, if I change my mind, I can get up and leave.
And that day came, or rather yesterday, November 21, 2014. I went into the office, I was shaking) I undressed, showed everything again, and this is what happened
The photographs were taken by a doctor. It was decided to “do” the stomach, sides, hips, but then I decided to do the chest as well.
She lay down on the couch, the doctor smeared emla (anesthetic cream) on all places. 30 minutes passed, it seemed to me that nothing had changed, my skin felt the same. The worst thing has begun... are you holding your breath?) But nothing terrible happened!))) The laser makes small puncture points almost invisible to the eye, only the sound is unpleasant, but it lasts less than a second, this is how a square area of about 2x2 cm is processed. In general I shouldn’t have been afraid) The procedure lasted about 20 minutes. Then everything turned red and burned. The feeling that I fell asleep in the sun and was badly burned, it lasted all evening, the next morning there was nothing like it anymore, it’s unpleasant to touch, but if you DO NOT touch, you don’t even remember)
This is 2 hours after the procedure
You can see these squares in the photos. It’s almost invisible on the chest; there was a less powerful mode, because... few stretch marks.
Care is quite simple, wipe with chlorhexidine, then smear with bipanthene, all this 5 times a day.
I decided to attach today’s photos after the night)
I took the photos myself, because... my husband is sleeping while my son is sleeping, today I’m pretending to be the sickest person in the world, but I’m just resting, and he got up in the morning, fed him, and walked))) So there’s no one to take pictures)
There is almost no redness on the stomach, no redness at all on the chest (3rd photo), and on the hips the strongest mode was applied, and it is still there. The skin is dry and almost not painful to touch. Peeling and skin renewal should begin soon.
Well, and most importantly, this is not a one-time procedure, the course for me personally is 4-5 procedures, with a break of 4-6 weeks. On the net they write “I did it once, there was no result, it’s a waste of money, I won’t go again,” but after one time it may not happen, they talk about the result only after the course. And yet, no procedure will get rid of stretch marks 100%.
So, I am very proud of myself for deciding to do this. I’ll write back when it peels off and the redness subsides)
