Hello, dear ladies! Today I will take up my favorite thing - I will fight the wrinkles that have taken a liking to beautiful women’s faces. Will you fight side by side with me? I suggest here one more thing: coconut oil for the face against wrinkles. Do not mind? Then let's go...

Composition and properties

There is no skin type that is not suitable for coconut oil. The exception is individual sensitivity (this is not skin type!). The components that make up our natural product have a beneficial effect on problem skin, fight inflammation and acne, and help get rid of acne.

Can it be used on mature skin? Not only is it possible, but I would say it’s absolutely necessary! For ladies of Balzac's age, this remedy has no equal. It is even applied to skin under the eyes. And in general, I don’t know in which case it would be inappropriate to use coconut oil. What's outside, what's inside!

Lauric acid, more than 50%. Strong antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effect. Thanks to it, wounds heal faster. But what is the reason for its magical properties? It's all in the composition. Coconut oil contains a huge amount of polyunsaturated fatty and other organic acids, including essential Omega acids. Here is their list and their effect on the skin:

  1. Myristic acid contains about 20%. Increases immunity, improves absorption of cosmetics.
  2. Palmitic acid - about 9%, is responsible for cell renewal.
  3. Oleic acid – about 6%. Reduces cholesterol, regulates the permeability of cell membranes, improves cellular nutrition, increases the absorption of cosmetics.
  4. Caprylic acid – approximately 5%. It has incredible antifungal activity, improves the supply of oxygen to cells, and normalizes the acid-base balance.
  5. Capric and stearic acid – about 8%. These substances have a fragrance effect, emulsifying properties and have a softening and protective effect.
  6. Linoleic and linolenic acids – up to 1%. These are our favorite essential fatty acids. They ensure the normal functioning of the body. Supports the barrier function of skin cells. Eliminates dryness and flaking.

Important! The complex effect of all these acids is primarily aimed at restoring elasticity, it gives an obvious Botox effect and is therefore ideal for mature skin.

What about vitamins? Everything is fine! Like any oil, coconut oil has a high content of “beauty vitamins” E and A. It also contains ascorbic acid, which our skin adores, which has an antioxidant effect, and some B vitamins.

Basic course for a competent consumer

Natural coconut oil is a slightly exotic product for our country, to put it mildly. Therefore, I decided to arrange a small educational program. Until I saw this oil, I didn’t really know what it looked like. Therefore, when I became interested in a recipe for a cream based on it, I had three main questions:
