What is Radical-Photo?

What is Radical?

Radikal.ru is a service that allows you to easily and quickly publish your pictures on your blog pages. All you need to do is select a picture from your computer, click the UPLOAD button and then copy the finished link into your message or New Post.

In addition, this service has many advantages:
— Does not require registration
— Image storage period is unlimited
— Maximum upload file size up to 10MB
— Ability to upload images using:
— Radical-Photo client programs
— Radical-Photo ShellExtension programs (Does not require installation of dotNet Framework)
— The service is completely free.

If you are going to use the service a lot and often, then it is better to install the Radical-Photo client program on your computer http://www.radikal.ru/FOTODESKTOP/fc_about.aspx.
I personally always have this program at hand.
The principle of operation in this program is identical to work on the server itself.

Go here The Radical.ru page will open IMAGE LOADING

Click on the BROWSE button, a window opens in which the folders of your computer are displayed.

Select a picture from your folders and click the “Open” button.

Let's look further at some options for uploading images to the server. For each of the programs and for downloading directly from the browser, they are the same:

— Reduce to the “specified number” of pixels. — The checkbox is usually set by default, the value is also 640. This is the value to which the server will reduce the width of the original image. If you want to be able to view the image in its original resolution (or to be able to see it on the screen), then it is of course better to uncheck the box. Note: Large photos tend to take a long time to load. To speed up loading, it is better to resize them on your computer in advance.

— Optimize format — Likewise. If you do not want the server to change the image quality for faster loading, then uncheck the box.

— Create a preview — A preview is such a small picture, a reduced copy of the downloaded image, upon clicking on which we see the photo itself. Here you can change its size and the standard inscription “enlarge” to something, say, “this is prettier.”

. Do not use these options when loading animations.

The remaining functions should be clear, and we do not touch those that are not clear.

When Radical uploads your image, it will appear as shown in the following image:

Now in the FULL SIZE IMAGE window, click on the triangle and select NOT CLICKABLE
