**Anisometropia** is a condition in which one eye sees much better than the other. It can result from a variety of causes, including heredity, injury, infection, and eye disease. Anisometropia can be detected and corrected using glasses or contact lenses. In fact, very often both eyes have different vision abilities, although the patient does not complain about the level of visual acuity. Such eyes are called **anisometropia**. Myopic eyes see distant objects unclearly and blurry. Unlike nearsightedness, farsighted eyes are always able to see clearly at a distance. Farsightedness can be caused by a cornea that is too weak, a lens that is too long, or
