Atrophy Pulmonary Idiopathic

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, in particular, is considered as a separate nosological entity and an independent therapeutic problem. Several classifications have been developed to divide lung tissue lesions into different categories of fibrosis. Staging is established depending on which part of the lung tissue is affected - the parenchyma or the interalveolar septa. These stages reflect the degree of airflow restriction in the lungs due to fibrosing lung disease. The stage is determined by the sum of certain symptoms and requires confirmation by spirometry data.
