Automysophobia

Automysophobe is a person who experiences a pathological fear of a healthy lifestyle, which manifests itself in a constant struggle with his own physiological needs. This can manifest itself in avoiding exercise, eating strict diets, avoiding regular medical check-ups and any healthy lifestyle activities. He is afraid to allow himself to be healthy because of the fear of losing control over his life or the inability to give up certain habits and character traits. On the other hand, if a person has a penchant for comfort and avoidance of difficult tasks, he may be diagnosed as an autostylist. Such people often get hung up on details without understanding the basics, and tend to make “asymmetrical decisions” with only one option, which has a chance of being correct, but is usually harmful or ineffective. This behavioral model is characterized by a lack of compromise and a tendency towards maximalism - if only to complete the task
