Baby Skin Care

Baby skin care

The day with the baby begins with the morning toilet. It should be carried out not at 6 o’clock in the morning, when the baby once again woke up to eat, but closer to 10–11. The child should be full, but at least half an hour should pass after eating. He must be in a good mood. A crying baby is initially negative about everything and simply will not allow anything to be done to him.

It all starts with washing the hands of the one who toilets the baby. Then the baby is placed on a changing table, which is installed in a well-lit (natural light!) place. First, the child is washed. Wipe your face with a cotton swab moistened with boiled water. The eyes are wiped from the ear to the nose with a cotton swab dipped in a green tea solution.

The nose is cleaned with a cotton swab. If dry crusts have accumulated, you can drop any sterile oil onto a cotton swab.

The oral cavity of a newborn child is not exposed to the toilet, because its mucous membrane is very vulnerable.

Examine the ears. You should clean your ears no more than 2-3 times a week. Children under one month should not use cotton swabs. The ears are cleaned with cotton wool pads moistened with a small amount of water.

Various cosmetics are widely used to care for children's skin. Previously, young parents could only use powder powders, manganese solutions, sterilized vegetable oil, boiled water, baby soap and cream to care for their children. Today there are many types of children's caring and medicinal cosmetics.

Children's cosmetics include natural plant extracts (chamomile, calendula, string, aloe, etc.) and oils (almond, jojoba and shea butter), vitamins A, D, C, E, glycerin, beeswax, mineral and castor oil, panthenol, zinc oxide and other chemical compounds. Thanks to these components, children's caring and medicinal cosmetics protect the baby's skin from the aggressive microbial environment into which he finds himself after birth, moisturizes and soothes the skin. Each child skin care product has a targeted effect, so the haphazard use of these cosmetics is at best ineffective.

Cosmetics for morning toilet:

TEAR-FREE FACIAL LOTION: Can be used to wash your baby. The child is washed with a cotton swab.

CHILDREN'S COSMETIC FACE CREAM: they need to lubricate the baby's face and hands.

SPECIAL CHILDREN'S COTTON SWIPS (possibly with a limiter) are used only by children older than a month.

During the day, you wash your baby every time you change the diaper. Before changing a new diaper, the baby's skin must be thoroughly cleaned, moisturized with cream and dried to prevent the formation of diaper rash. Regardless of the specifics of washing a boy and a girl, the cosmetics used in this procedure are the same.

Cosmetics used after washing:

SANITARY WIPES: necessary for wiping the skin. Wet baby wipes not only remove dirt, but also preserve a protective water-lipid film on the baby's sensitive skin. This is important because baby's skin does not have a protective acid coating. Wipes from some companies have an antimicrobial effect and are moisturized with lotions or oils. When traveling, sanitary napkins are used instead of washing.

CLEANING OIL or CLEANING LOTION that does not contain alcohol. It is usually used to gently cleanse the perineum and moisturize the skin without damaging the delicate baby skin. Oil or lotion is applied to a cotton swab and the groin area and genitals are treated with careful movements. The use of these cosmetics is preferable to soap, since even baby soap is used daily
