Birch-Hirschfeld Operation

For about a century, Birch-Hirschfeld has been successfully fighting to restore vision in people with such complex problems as unilateral atrophic keratitis, burns of the conjunctiva and cornea with acid or alkali. He also published a book dedicated to this operation: “Minor Surgical Interventions.”

In the 70s of the 20th century, it became possible to perform this operation to restore vision in the most severe eye injuries in a safer way. The Birch-Gresfeld operation can be performed from the age of 4 years. She has become more gentle.

The operation requires time and money.
