Mesentery Tendon

The mesentery of the tendon or tendinous mesentery is a special connective tissue layer that connects the superficial and deep fascia on each side of the muscles. Due to the location where the tendon attaches to the joint capsule, the tendinous mesentery is also called the extracapsular joint ligament. It is this connection, strong in every sense, that provides reliable support for the tendons.
