Dhoti cancer is a fairly rare disease associated with the custom of men wearing a traditional loin garment - the dhoti. This disease is known only in India and occurs only in people who constantly wear dhoti. Traditionally, this type of clothing is considered predominantly for men, but among some peoples of the Turkic linguistic group, it is also customary for women to wear dhotiya.

Dhoti cancer, despite the apparent simplicity of the history of its appearance, is rarely diagnosed, which is why most often already advanced stages of the disease are sent for treatment. The most common symptoms of cancer in this area are redness, itching, and swelling of the skin. In this case, itching and soreness may not be noticeable or cause mild skin irritation, to avoid which some men thresh the edges of the dhoti. But usually this is not enough, and at the first signs of discomfort you should consult a doctor. Unfortunately, Dhoti cancer is quite common in Indian men: up to 60% of all cancer cases in this country are due to this inflammation of the lymph nodes, which always develops near the armpits and abdominal area. Among other things, this pathology can lead to other diseases.
