Castration Surgical

Castration is a surgical procedure that removes the gonads or reproductive organs from animals or humans. In castration, the male gonads are completely removed, resulting in a loss of the ability to produce sperm. In the case of female genitalia, the ovaries and uterus are removed along with the cervix. Spaying may be beneficial to the health of an animal or person, as some diseases, such as prostate cancer or endometriosis, may be more common in men or women who are not spayed.

Castration in cats is especially necessary to maintain their health and prevent certain diseases, such as prostatitis and osteosarcoma. In addition, it helps reduce animal aggression and reduce stress levels.
