What to do about excess growth

Excessive hair growth on the body and especially in unwanted places can be a problem for many people. This can be caused by genetic factors, changes in hormonal balance, and external influences such as the use of certain medications or cosmetics. Some people may feel insecure or embarrassed due to excess hair growth. In this article, we will look at several ways you can manage excess hair growth.

The first method is hair bleaching. There are several ways to bleach hair, including bleaches, hydrogen peroxide and perhydrol. To use hydrogen peroxide as a bleach, wipe the hair several times a day with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, to which a few drops of ammonia must be added before use. A bleaching ointment that includes antifibrin, anhydrous lanolin, petrolatum, and perhydrol may also be effective. However, with continued use of this product, the hair may become increasingly brittle and eventually disappear.

The second method is chemical hair removal. Depilatory powders sold in pharmacies can be used for chemical hair removal. If there is no such depilatory, then you can prepare a liquid depilatory consisting of two liquids: sodium sulfide and ammonia. Apply liquid “a” to the area covered with hair, and then liquid “b”. After 1-2 minutes, wipe the smeared area with a swab, rinse with water and then wash again with water acidified with some acid or vinegar. This depilatory is very effective and has little irritation to the skin. After washing with water, the skin must be powdered. An ancient hair remover that includes alcohol, turpentine, tincture of iodine and castor oil can also be effective. Apply this liquid to areas covered with hair 2-3 times a day. After several days of use, hair begins to fall out. Iodine stains can be removed with a weak solution of ammonia or hyposulfite.

The third method is mechanical hair removal. Sometimes a method of mechanical hair removal is used by rubbing the skin with a fine steel grid. This method can be painful and cause skin irritation. A more gentle method is to use wax. The wax is applied to the skin, then a cloth or paper strip is placed over it and quickly removed in the direction opposite to hair growth. This method may be painful, but removes hair for a longer period of time than other methods.

The fourth method is electrolysis. This method involves using electric current to destroy the hair follicle. This can be an expensive and painful process, but it is one of the most effective long-term hair removal methods.

The fifth method is laser hair removal. This method uses a laser beam to destroy hair follicles. It can be expensive and require multiple sessions, but it is one of the most effective long-term hair removal methods and can be painless.

Some of these methods can be expensive, painful, or require multiple sessions. Results may also vary depending on skin type and hair color. Therefore, before choosing a hair removal method, it is best to consult a dermatologist or hair removal specialist.
