Cyanide

Cyanide (hydrocyanic acid) is a compound from a number of toxic substances widely used in industry. Just one accidental inhalation can be fatal, as cyanide is a powerful poison. In case of cyanide poisoning, the organs most affected are the heart, brain, and lungs. It is believed that some of the most dangerous cyanogen compounds are hydrocyanic and methylenenitrile hydrochloric acids.
