Cytopenia Autoimmune

Autoimmune cytopenia is a condition in which there is a decrease in the level of certain types of cells in the blood. In this case, we are talking about reducing the level of leukocytes and platelets.

Autoimmune cytopenia can be caused by a variety of causes, including genetic factors, infections, allergies, and autoimmune diseases. In particular, cytopaenia can occur with an autoimmune disease such as systemic lupus erythematosus or rheumatoid arthritis.

Symptoms of autoimmune cytopathy may include increased fatigue, weakness, decreased immunity, frequent infections, anemia and other changes in the body's functioning.

To diagnose autoimmune type cytopathies, various blood tests and other research methods are used. Treatment of cytopathies usually involves the use of medications, immunosuppressive agents, and other treatments for the underlying disease.
