Dosage forms: oral drops 2 mg/ml

Composition: Active substance - dihydroergotamine.

Indications for use: Arteriohypotonic headache, migraine, vasospastic angina, orthostatic hypotension.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, severe atherosclerosis, organic heart damage, myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension, peripheral circulatory disorders, sepsis, shock, renal dysfunction, first trimester of pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Side effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty in nasal breathing, rhythm disturbances (rare), dizziness, swelling, itching.

Interaction: The effect is enhanced by antihistamines, sedatives and hypnotics. Concomitant use with other antimigraine drugs (ergotamine, sumatriptan) increases the likelihood of vasospasm. Enhances the effect of some antihypertensive drugs. Macrolides increase the concentration of dihydroergotamine in the blood.

Overdose: With increased sensitivity to ergotamine drugs, symptoms of ergotism may appear - chest pain, respiratory depression, muscle weakness, pain and paresthesia in the extremities, accompanied by cyanosis and weakening of pulsation in the periphery.

Special instructions: Smoking is not recommended during treatment (the risk of peripheral vasospasm increases).
