Lobule Lunar Inferior

The inferior lobule semilunaris is the lower element of the cerebral hemisphere. This dorsal part of the frontal hemisphere, facing upward, is distinguished from other elements by its semicircular shape and significant surface development. Both surfaces of the hemisphere - the medial or coronal, as well as the lateral or parietal - are separated from the lobule by a clear crater-shaped cut.

The lobule has a fairly rough internal structure and consists of deep grooves and crevices. Among them, the central fissure deserves special attention - sulcus medianus, which is located laterally - at the intersection of the semilunar flexure and forehead - and separates the lobule from the internal hook of the frontal lobe. Using this slit it can be detected
