Drainage Safety

Drainage works

When performing drainage work, you should always have a site plan at hand, created by professional surveyors. The plan should include graphic relief elements, drawn horizontal lines and, depending on the purpose of drainage, groundwater level boundaries (to prevent waterlogging, salinization) and isopleths. - After preparing the site, it is necessary to mark with pegs the route of the designed drainage. The pegs are stuck in such a way that they are located vertically on the free boundaries of the site, and the bottom of the peg goes into the ground by about a third of its length. They must be installed both relative to each other and relative to the natural vertical slope of the area. You can immediately begin vertical drilling from under the pegs. Depending on the specific conditions, machine-mounted or hand-held drilling rigs can be used for drilling. Hole diameter is from 20 to 75 mm, hole depth is from 1.5 to 3 meters (with gravitational load) or over 12 meters in impermeable soil. It is better to drill immediately to the maximum depth. It should be easy to pass through the hole
